SERVING FAMILIES IN OHIO

Alma holds an Ohio LISW, so Ohio families can work with us by secure telehealth from anywhere in the state. We offer neurodiversity-affirming advocacy, coaching, and counseling for neurodivergent individuals, medically complex families, and caregivers.

TEENS AND CONSENT IN OHIO

In Ohio, teens 14 and older can ask for a limited amount of outpatient counseling without a parent's consent: up to six sessions or 30 days, whichever comes first, and not including medication (ORC 5122.04). To continue after that, a parent or guardian needs to give consent, with the teen's agreement. We'll explain how this works at the first session.
